MD355 Bridge over CSXT Railroad  In May 2017, Hetzer was awarded a $7.6-million dollar contract to replace an existing bridge on MD355 over CSXT Railroad south of Frederick, MD. The work includes a temporary ACROW truss bridg, centerline sheetpile shoring for support of excavation, H-pile foundations, 430-CY of footing concrete, 535-CY of substructure concrete, a single span steel plate girder bridge, concrete superstructure, significant roadway construction. Significant unforeseen utility relocation delays were mutually resolved by Hetzer and SHA.  A late summer 2020 completion is anticipated.
