2016

Maryland Asphalt Association Awards for 2016 Paving Projects: At their annual meeting in March 2017, the Maryland Asphalt Association awarded Hetzer the following two awards:

  •  2016 Paving Award Winner - Secondary Resufracing Category  for SHA Contract WA806B54 on MD Rte. 34 - Little Antietam Creek to King Road.  
  • 2016 Paving Award Winner - Interstate Resurfacing Category  for SHA Contract WA92251 on I-70 - CSX Railroad Bridge to MD632.

Compliments to Rick Michael and his plant production, transport, and laydown crews.  Awards like this also are a  reflection on the remainder of the organization - all the way through!  Congratulations!

2013

  • 2013 ASCE MARYLAND SECTION AWARDS
    RECOGNIZING  OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR
    SECTION’S MEMBERS AND MEMBER FIRMS:  Washington County's Devil's Backbone Dam was awarded the Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement – Small Project of the Year Award through ASCE.  The award was made at the June 2013 Member Appreciation & Awards Night at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
