On June 6th, 2013, the Maryland Section - American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) awarded the Washington County - Devil's Backbone Dam Rehabilitation Project the 2013 Outstanding Civl Engineering Achievement - Minor Construction Project Category.   As the ASCE Maryland Section awards only two projects each year, it was great to share in this honor.  Having previously received the 2012 Project of the Year by the County Engineers Association of Maryland (CEAM), we re-express our gratitude that our construction team  tackled this unique and challenging project in combination with the Washington County Department of Public Works, and consulting engineers Wallace, Montgomery & Associates LLP.  Learn more about this project under "Capabilities/Dams".
