Hagerstown West End Ground Water Storage Tank (Phase 1)
Project Overview:
- Improvements for replacement of the City’s century-old open West End municipal water reservoir.
- Performed complete civil site services subcontract package for prestressed concrete tank, including structural excavation, prestressed winding track construction.
- 8, 12, 16, & 20-inch Interior Flanged Process Piping.
- 1,342-LF of 24-inch DIP Restrained Mechanical Joint Piping in Rock Trench Conditions near existing water reservoir and public facilities.
- Twin 36-inch diameter bored pipe crossings across divided highway (US Rte. 40).
- Concrete Foundations for Expansion of Existing Pump Building & Chemical Feed Facility.
- Major subcontracts included architectural, electrical and instrumentation packages.
